No.  Unless you have a 2.8MB floppy, that is (and then only
in the sense: "else it just won't work") ... the floppy is so
slow that 500 kBit is enough for it.  Hardware ...

Looks like it.  Unless there is another way which ftape does
not try (yet), but I'd not bet more than a cent on it.

AFAIK that won't work at all.  But then my data may be old.

IIRC (and that's hear-say at best) that is the accellerator card
for the MAX Series.  Nominally it can do a whopping 4000kBit/s,
but (neither under Windows nor unter Linux) the computer can
keep up that sort of speed; you'll probably have to reduce it
to 3000kBit to get it to work with the tape actually streaming.
