I can't see how the DHCP problem is associated with the kernel driver. Isn't 
that a userspace issue?
However I definately want to know about the "sleep" problem. This is the 
second report (in the last few days) and I am now a bit concerned. The other 
report was that it happened every few days, and could be "fixed' by ifdown 
the interface, rmmod CDCEther, modprobe CDCEther, ifup the interface. Does 
this match your experience?

Is there anyone else seeing this problem, especially on Ericsson hardware?
