Hmm, I can't do much with my machine. This is a Toshiba notebook with almost nothing in the BIOS. I tried 2.5.36. Hangs right at the beginning of the booting process ... Well, "designed for XP" notebook hangs when I plug int "desgined for XP" card in the wrong PCMCIA slot. In the other slot doesn't work with XP as well. So Linux is not so bad after all. Maybe somebody is interested in these $28 cardbus USB 2.0 Tawian-brand NEC chipset cards ? www.pcmicrostore.com Add in $25 USB 2.0 2.5" case and you are set. Or $46 5.25" case.
