Not yet. I tried but first my machine did not boot with 2.5.35 and
it took me some time before I got the kernel working but with no graphics.

low frequency beep - as for non-working cardbus cards
also devices connected did not work

Yes, I have to use to power adapter to get it working!!!

But I thought the role of the adpator is to PROVIDE power!!!

My notebook is legacy free so in order to use USB 2.0 controller I have
to use USB 1.1 to PS2 adapter and then draw power from this adapter!
This is sick!

Now if I want to use USB powered 2.5" enclosure I have to drain
power from ps2 through USB to PS2 adapter for both hard drive and the
cardbus controller ?
