Great! I also have INTEL USB chipset so your enclosure would probabely work. Would you please be as kind as tell me where you bought it? (if not in e-shop then forget it) I found it only under:

it's not the same as yours, but even than thay wouldnt ship the damned thing to Europe.

The Dell laptop uses an Intel chipset for USB and TI for 1394.

I need to find a decent PCI card for the desktop with both USB and 1394 that DOESN'T use the VIA chipset....
