Hi,
I'd like to ask (try to keep up with) what {new} USB
work there is in progress right now.
This is beyond things like fixing OHCI for some
controllers and/or platforms.
There's a good bit of work going on for userspace
solutions to USB PnP and device drivers, like
usbd, usbdevfs, libusb, driver binding, etc.
There are a number of new USB device drivers under
development IIRC. Most of these seem to be
(still) camera, motion camera, TV-related, or
USB-Ethernet related. Maybe some force-feedback
joystick support?
For example:
. miro PCTV [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]
. Hauppauge WinTV [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]
. Kawasaki USB-Ethernet ? (same as NetGear IIRC)
. NetGear EA101 USB-Ethernet [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]
. Casio QV-8000SX Digicam (if usb-storage does not support it)
. Sony F505 digital camera (if usb-storage does not support it)
. Logitech webcam ?
. Sunplus webcam ?
. Sharp ivs30 camera ?
. 3Com HomeConnect webcam [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]
. Mustek gsmart digital camera ?
. Tekom/Divio digital camera ?
Thanks,
Randy
