Hi there,
I tried to install my new GeForce2 MX200 32MB PCI gfx card last nite
but had a few problems. It appear that Dick Smith have not installed
all the necessary dev files to get gcc/make working correctly. I was
trying to compile the latest drivers from nVidia to get GLX working,
but the ./configure and make install parts completed with errors. When
I restarted X to see it all work things took a turn for the worse. As
a result I have had to re-install MDK 9.0 from scratch and kiss goodbye
to all my work. I tried again after a complete install, and the compiling
worked perfectly. I restarted X to get the GLX driver working and X refuses
to boot, defaulting to text-mode login after several attempts to start...

Is there a nVidia user/guru among the lug who can come look at my beast
to see what I need to do to get GLX working? I cannot wait until next
workshop to get that running but it is beyond my ability now to do so.

Kind regards,

Chris Wilkinson, Middle Earth, New Zealand.
