Get the rpm's from the nvidia site. There is also a script you can download (called NVchooser) that checks your system and tells you which ones to install.
I restarted X to get the GLX driver working and X refuses
to boot, defaulting to text-mode login after several attempts to start...
I had this trouble too until I ran NVchooser.
