Hi,

I have an iMac 333 running MacOS 8.6. Altought I have used
Netatalk+asun (AppleTalk) and Samba (using DAVE as a client), I've
decided to use DAVE. It simplifies administration (the other PCs are
running Win98 here).

If you don't want to spend the money (and you don't have Windoze
clients or don't mind the extra admin), netatalk is the way to go.

I've used DAVE at a client's office (4 Macs and 2 Win clients). The
printers were shared using netatalk. It easier and direct. With DAVE
you have to setup the printer in one Mac and then the Mac publishes it
using appletalk.
