That's one thing that I noticed right off the bat, the messages in
/var/log/ changed:

# [root@hostname /root]# tail /var/log/messages
# Jan  3 22:21:02 hostname dhcpcd[23814]: infinite IP address lease
time.
# Exiting
# Jan  3 22:38:53 hostname -- MARK --
