Not really, I have on this box both Linux and Wintendo XP. On this box I use a Logitech Inet USB keydoard and a Logitech USB optical wheel mouse. I was having a problem installing COL 3.1.1b2 on this machine so I put adapters on both USB devices and used them as ps/2.. After installing COL and then Mandrake8.1 then SuSe7.3 I removed the ps/2 adapters prior to starting up Linux and since the USB modules were loaded both the keyboard and mouse just kept on working withoout haveing to change things and rebooting. In the mean time I had been in winXP using ps/2 adapters and of coursed logged out. When booting back into XP with both devices using the USB port, XP detected the change and was prompted to reboot the computer in order for the new hardware to function properly > allow you to just pop stuff in and out at leisure. Good grief! if I were to get a dollar ($US or $CDN) for everytime I've had to go through the registry looking for and removing entries that some brain dead uninstall program failed to remove, I'm sure I could buy one heck of a computer system (loaded with Linux of course). > > Ciao, > > David A.
