defenitely UC the best.

At this stage I need volunteers which I am happy to see people are 
putting their hands up for.

Then I'll be seeing about finding a venue. UC seems a natural choice as 
it's close to public transport, various accommodation and other 
facilities - its downside is somewhere to put about 650 people in a 
single room for key note speakers etc (although there is streaming). 
I'll also be looking at the possibility of the Convention Centre. In 
either case I'm looking into meeting with people to see about using 
either facility.

Unless someone has an idea of elsewhere that LCA could be held?

When I have information about where to have LCA, a proposal needs to be 
constructed for presentation to Linux Australia. I've been given tips on 
who to talk to such the Convention Bureau.

Then at some point we all need to get together and start working through 
other things.
