I generally agree with this.

Having a foot in both worlds (running Windows Red Hat, and OpenBSD,
and having a small client base of end users I build, maintain, and
provide computing services for), forces me to see more than one side
of the issue.

With the Internet now being as lawless a place as it is (I read
somewhere that this year, Internet crime was more profitable than the
global trade in illegal drugs), I think that Windows end users have to
start getting smarter, if they don't want to lose their identities,
and have their bank accounts drained.

I think that *nix users are going to have to start getting smarter,
faster, too, because the bad guys want *nix machines, too.
