That is weird! My wife really DID break mine. I left it open and she knocked off. It would not have broken except she had a drawer open and the screen hit the edge. It works but had a big black hole in it. Feeling guilty she replaced it with a 901 and I love it. I use it daily and lug it around with my recipes, listen to internet radio, podcasts and the like. It goes where I go.
