Roy, I was kinda curious how much I could find on-line. I use Dell laptops in my business and I know they have step-by-step tech instructions in hardware manuals on-line for laptops. Anyway, I ran across this sight: http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewtopic.php?id=6036 The first thing that blew me away was the quality of pictures. They may or may not be of help to you. I also noticed there are a lot of eeePC users who have noisy fans so you might spend some time on the site and see if you can get help there. I can't imagine wanting to do all the mods they describe on the site but to each his own.
