Don't bother, the floppy is bootable. Take the resource cd, put it in a
microwave, and run the microwave for 5-10 seconds. You'll get far more use
out of the resource cd this way than you'll ever get out of trying to use
it for anything.

ok, just kidding, use the CD for a coaster.

Once the floppy is made, you can boot it.

Set the "recovery boot" jumper on the motherboard, put the floppy in, and
it will load and reflash the original bios.

make phlash.

Also, I STRONGLY recommend you copy the RON_L440GX_SCSI directory
somewhere OUTSIDE the linuxbios tree. Then fix the TOP variable in the
makefile and voila, you can cvs update without fouling up your build
directory.

Note that the almost-ready config tool will eliminate some of this.

Right now I'm having SCSI troubles. I can't state this will work for
scsi. Sorry. I really need someone with scsi expertise to tell me what's
going wrong.

Are you using a VA node? I keep wondering if it's the VA SCA hardware.

I'll try to do that, many thanks.

I'm sorry this is so rough and ready. We've been pretty focused on getting
things to go, and we need to start looking at howto's and such. I
appreciate your patience.
