T-shirts
Sent off a mail yesterday to Neil over at Copyleft.net,
http://www.copyleft.net, asking about t-shirt support for Demo Day and if
that would be possible. Dummy me I did it from work so I want see an
answer until Tuesday though.
Distribution Help
Also plan on mailing Red Hat, Caldera, SUSE, and Pacific Hi-Tech today
after finding the right person to talk to about maybe arranging for some
free distributions and some banner ads on their sight for Demo Day.
Gimp Contest
I just fired off an e-mail to the Contest Maintainer at gimp.org. I will
post any news from the staff at gimp.org.
Linux International
I just mailed Jon "maddog" Hall about getting support from Linux
International. I think getting LI onboard would increase our credibility
and hopefully boost participation level.
Has anyone asked ESR or RMS about helping out the project yet? I guess
that may be my job.
But we seem to be moving along quiet nicely now. Things seem to be coming
together relatively smoothly.
Any other places that you think a post or tip would be good to make to
please post them on the mailing list so we can get the news out to everyone
possible and make the event as good as possible.
