* IMO, your desktop had a plainer Kernel, with no SMP/HIGHMEM support or
things like that. This 320 has 1 GB you said, and I guess the kernel was
diff. from your Desktop. Confirm.

* What happened to this IP assignment?  How did it loose this IP, so that
the i/f "denied to accept it" later?  Did you find the i/f to be down
later? Or did you de-assign the 192.19 address? Pls explain.

* If 192.30 works fine, so should 203.187.192.19, unless there is a
duplicate IP already in your network.
