What version of i210 driver are you using? An in-kernel version? What
kernel version? There have been some fixes to the upstream driver
recently which may have resolved this issue. The i210 driver was not
resetting the PTP signals when it changed link status, and I believe
this may have been fixed. If not, providing more detail may be useful
in forwarding this to the current driver owner.
