"just lost"??

What I hope you do is think a bit and find a way to appreciate the user
group that you have just gained.  You don't have any appreciation for it
yet, but this list is a group that respects everyone, and not so much a
forum for people to make fun of you or whatever.

Perhaps you enjoy the "wild west" approach - but I would think you also
would enjoy a place where you can work on and contribute to the world of
free and open source software without people making fun of you or
criticizing you.

Since it appears you are still subscribed, then I would say you are
already a fundamental part of this group, and I hope you still
contribute with your knowledge and ideas, knowing that we are all about
software freedom and open source - but without offtopic/offcolor
distractions.

I still don't know what you're somehow thinking you have lost.
