Spineless?  Really? For not forcing your customers to upgrade on a 3
year cycle?  What about the businesses that bought computers just before
Vista was released (i.e. Summer 2006?)  Shouldn't they be able to get at
least 5 years out of their purchase?  IMHO, they should be able to use
an OS for 10 years from date of release, which places them squarely at
the end of 2011.  That's not at all unreasonable.  An extra few years
since Vista was a terrible flop is a nice gesture from any standpoint,
especially since using unsupported software is NOT an option for any
self-respecting corporate IT dept.

I also find that comment a little backwards, from someone who purports
that Win98 is the greatest achievement from Redmond.
