A reasonable idea, but currently not a practical one. Not all list
managers implement these headers. RFC 2369 [1] is a step in the right
direction, but is not yet widely implemented, either.

Also a good idea in theory. Have you suggested this to them? What was
their response?
By the way, I'm not arguing with you. I wish you the best of success
trying to convince Compu$erve and authors of mailing list managers to
implement your suggestions.
