I'd also point out that attracting Enterprises may not be the only motivation for that pricing. An argument could be made that it could also be designed to actually *prevent* The Small Guy from buying and using it. Enterprise deployments come with large teams, resources, and expertise (or willingness to buy expertise) that small guys simply can't do. Flex is a brand new product and does things in a whole different way. It does take some time to learn it and wrap your head around it's concepts. If everyone and their brother bought Flex and started trying to implement it, MM would be flooded by technical support questions. Anyways - Not saying it's true, just another way to look at it. -Cameron ----------------- Cameron Childress Sumo Consulting Inc http://www.sumoc.com --- cell: 678.637.5072 aim: cameroncf email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Behalf Of Clint Tredway > Sent: Thursday, March 10, 2005 8:56 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: Out on Flex and that's depressingly final! > > > The reason for the price tag is who the target audience of Flex is. > The Enterprise Market.
