Yeah, Joe Kelly is right. The ping monitors are only for the IP addresses
assigned to the web servers with your sites. If one of the individual
servers that contains one of your websites goes down, then you will (should)
be notified by a failed ping ticket.

If their entire DNS goes down, I can't imagine them notifying anyone via a
ticket, since they would have to create a ticket for every customer.

They don't sound so hot to me either.

     You are some right, in fact, they lost several
clients due to their poor customer service, including
us. They even tried to prevent us from moving our
sities to another company, something about secuity
lock keys!! Completed the move to another company
within 1 day, too. Thanks for your insight also.
