We run 4 gigs of RAM in our servers, with a 1.5 gig heap size per instance of CF.

Believe it or not, the problem WILL get worse. In my situation, we had to restart Jrun a few times PER DAY because it would be stuck at 100% of CPU usage. We had a server setup similar to yours, but with 1 gig of ram. Sarge's tips fixed it. But we added more Ram anyway for the future. >From: "Kevin Fricke" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: <[email protected]> >Subject: RE: jrun >Date: Tue, 24 May 2005 13:37:27 -0500 >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Received: from iserver40.infranet ([207.168.61.195]) by >mc10-f30.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.211); Tue, 24 May 2005 >11:39:49 -0700 >Received: from nospam.imailbox.com (unverified [207.168.61.211]) by >imailbox.com (Rockliffe SMTPRA 5.2.5) with SMTP id ><[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for <[email protected]>; Tue, 24 May 2005 >13:44:55 -0500 >Received: from mx10.imailbox.com ([207.168.61.213])by nospam.imailbox.com >(8.12.11/8.12.11) with ESMTP id j4OIbQQU016227for <[email protected]>; Tue, >24 May 2005 13:37:26 -0500 >Received: from smtp814.mail.sc5.yahoo.com (smtp814.mail.sc5.yahoo.com >[66.163.170.84])by mx10.imailbox.com (Postfix) with SMTP id 3F18A49Dfor ><[email protected]>; Tue, 24 May 2005 17:15:59 -0500 (CDT) >Received: from unknown (HELO karamazov) >([EMAIL PROTECTED]@70.246.88.126 with login) by >smtp814.mail.sc5.yahoo.com with SMTP; 24 May 2005 18:37:25 -0000 >X-Message-Info: TI+g33lC1uOqCYC6OFB1iDbgNsmlRJYxeNSwQiTrrh0= >X-MSMail-Priority: Normal >X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook IMO, Build 9.0.6604 (9.0.2911.0) >X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2900.2180 >X-imailbox.com-MailScanner-Information: http://www.imailbox.com/support.cfm >for more info... >X-imailbox.com-MailScanner: Found to be clean >X-MailScanner-From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Return-Path: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 24 May 2005 18:39:50.0328 (UTC) >FILETIME=[F7C32B80:01C5608F] > >I am trying to get an investment in a new server and/or more ram....you >know >how that is. > >As for the heap sizes...
