Because the AIP's ACAC Council is determining those standards. We've brought
the top certification companies together, along with other major industry
representation, to determine what is necessary for certification programs to
include. Then we are accrediting programs. Programs are not forced to have
our accreditation. It is AIP's seal of approval, based on a set of
standards, vs. many other associations in other markets that allow
accreditations/endorsements to be "bought". We wanted a common set of
standards for those accreditations/endorsements. And we've put together a
forum where the certification industry can do that.

To my knowledge, INEGroup is not a 501c6 "professional association". Am I
mistaken? The term "professional association" is used in conjunction with
the definition by the United States 501c6 designation (vs. educational
associations which are 501c3, such as ISOC or the HTML Writers Guild). AIP
has 8500 members.

There are no archives for [EMAIL PROTECTED] as the list has
just gone up in the past day or two. The web interface does include publicly
accessible archives once the posts there begin.

Please do! I encourage any and all to ask any questions about the
Association that you wish to. I'll be happy to answer.
Sincerely,
Andrew Kraft
