Roberto and all,
one has to remember that the members of the GAC are "Appointed" by the
ICANN (Initial?) Interim board (See Article VII and Article III of the ICANN
bylaws for further reference). Hence insuring that the stakeholders
have a "CHOICE" in whom represents their interests as a GAC member
is not and option, and therefore seems to many to be inconsistent with
the White Paper and the MoU. Again this is a process problem, which
Esther Dyson made it clear again in Santiago, the ICANN (Initial?)
Interim board is not interested in discussing or considering....
