I agree with what Merill said. Well done. -----Original Message----- From: Ballantyne, Merrill <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected]; Charles and Pat Culotta <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tue, 20 Nov 2007 12:02 am Subject: Re: [Liveaboard] lv-ab: A PLOLITICAL Cause
I always find ironic how often silence is demanded in the name of political neutrality. Silence is not a neutral position, neither is the demand for others to be politically silent. This forum is a political forum and should be. Some of the best islands in the world are military bases- and many are not accessible to boaters for security reasons, and I think this is a case in point happening as we speak and as such it is relevant.. I would ask how a signature that says “support our troops” can be preceeded by a demand to “keep your opinions to yourself”? -Merrill (by the way, which troops should we support, the ones that want to go home, or the ones that want to stay?) ________________________________________________________________________ Email and AIM finally together.
