I have posted it b4, and I shall again, Many times, In Tarpon Basin, Sailboats at anchor with just a masthead anchor lite DO NOT SHOW UP! Especially on a small boat at 20 mph at nite. It's insane to sleep on a boat with JUST AN ANCHOR LITE! an anchor lite looks like a star. Blends right in. personally, I never felt anchor lights should be white. Maybe yellow?? but they are not. Sailboaters, use spreader lites, lcd ropoe lighting, anything, light up your vessels.
