RE: We used 400mW 2 meter radios for traffic light

control. This is low power and as such  not restricted by requiring an FCC 
licence for each station.

Sorry, Arild,
When I read anything that refers to "2 meters" I think amateur radio.  
Probably because I've never heard anyone use that term to refer to 
commercial applications.
