An HU-25 Falcon jet crew from Coast Guard Air Station Miami searched through the evening and again this morning before the crew responded to the call to be on the lookout.
Crew said bad weather forced them to anchor off Abaco. The Bahamian Air and Sea Rescue Association (BASRA) issued a marine broadcast this morning urging mariners to be on the lookout for the 46-foot sailing vessel Flying Pig. Flying Pig crew members heard the marine broadcast and quickly responded via radio, stating they were anchored off Abaco Island, Bahamas, due to inclement weather.
