Running LiVES 2.2.7 on Arch Linux, I get something like the following error when attempting to encode any clip
LiVES was unable to read from the file /run/media/kyle/USB3HDD/livestmp/416115435/audio Please check for possible error causes. There is no log entry that would indicate any problem at all other than the same error message repeated in the terminal where I ran LiVES for that session, and there is indeed a file at /run/media/kyle/USB3HDD/livestmp/416115435/audio, which SoX can play if I specify the correct parameters for the raw audio data. Also, LiVES itself is able to play the audio before I attempt to encode it. I have tried encoding several different ways, including lossless ffv1 using mencoder and high quality webm using ffmpeg, and I get the same result each time: it just can't read the audio, and gives no explanation for not being able to read it. Worse, if I click "Show details" on the error message, the application closes and I get the standard crash message in the terminal. There is a line at the bottom of the terminal output that says lives: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib//lives/plugins/decoders/zzavformat_decoder.so: undefined symbol: av_close_input_file But this appears to be happening after the error message about the audio file,, as it only appears when LiVES crashes when I attempt to show the details of the error. Thanks for any help resolving this issue. -- "Don't judge my disability until you are able to see my ability." ~Kyle: https://kyle.tk/ My chunk of the internet: https://chunkhost.com/r/Kyle ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming!
