I think it's a bit of a slur on bus drivers to suggest they play games
at the passengers expense. I stand by what I said, if you *really are* in a
rush to get somewhere
you dont use public transport. I'm sure most travellers have probably
already worked that out
and dont have unrelaistic expectations of what public transport provides.

To treat this genuine need with an "apparent" contempt of "no one is
in a rush" just misses the point about passengers' needs and also that
public transport is there to compete against / provide an alternative
to the private car.
