What i think would be a good idea with regard to the "This bus is being held here" etc would be to have it under the control of the route controller, that way you'd request to use it the controller would authorise it it and it would be announced. I certainly could have done with it last Wednesday afternoon, the day of some football game. The roads were empty & i had an hour to get from Leytonstone to Romford on the 66's. Left LN 8 mins late and still ended up nearly ten early at Newbury Park, so just sat there waiting for my time, much to the disgust of some of the passengers who no doubt wanted to get home to watch the football. I did make an annoucement over the PA which was met with even more disgust. Paul Almeroth.
