I've got the 505-tr, and linux seems pretty well ok on it.  pcmcia
seems to work (although haven't tried a wavelan), I haven't been
concerned enough with sound to try to make it work, and apm seems ok
with 2.2.15, but not particularly w/the new 2.2.17 kernel.

FWIW, I'm using debian, but I find kde to be EVIL INCARNATE.  JMO, of
course... :-)
