Dave, I don't know about the Winconnect product, but LTSP is for running thin clients on Linux, similar in concept to running Winterms on Windows.
I think what you probably would be interested in is rdesktop. That is a program that lets you connect to a windows terminal server from a Linux desktop. I think the url is www.rdesktop.org.
