Galeon is based on Gecko using a Gnome interface. Phoenix is pared to the bone Gecko + latest functionality from Multizilla, with a cross-platform XUL based interface. It is gaining users at a horrendous rate from all parts of the OS divide. For something officially 0.5, it's enormously stable.
