Fanying Jen, Is it just that one application that is crashing, or is the entire desktop crashing, taking you back to a login ?
If it is the entire desktop crashing, I'd guess that you are running out of ram on the workstation. When that happens, the kernel goes on a killing spree, and it almost always chooses the Xserver as it's first target. Try turning on nfs-swap in the lts.conf file. The parameter is: USE_NFS_SWAP = Y I'll bet that clears up your problem. Jim McQuillan [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Tue, 29 Jul 2003, Fanying Jen wrote: > Hello, I have a nagging problem.
