X_HORZSYNC = 30-45 X_VERTREFRESH = 60-65
results in 800x600 resolution. I don't understand how these values work, but it does, and that's most important... :)
I found the client is behaving strange, though: Somtimes (re)starting cause the gray background with the X pointer to show up quite a few times before giving up and returning a text cursor. Restarting once again usually fixes the problem. Is this beuacuse of old hardware?
