Hi list,

we are using a lot of Thin Clients like the HP e-pc 40 or Compaq IPaq, which
all have an Intel i815e graphics adapter on board.
Using a resolution of 1024x768 leads to 75 Hz on our CRTs and TFTs - fine so
far.
Now we got 19" Wide screen TFTs that should be run on 1440x900, which is too
much for the intel adapter.
But it should do 1280x1024 at 60Hz and the monitor is listed with 1280x1024
at 60Hz in the manual, too.
I tried
X_MODE_0           = 1280x1024 108.88 1280 1360 1496 1712 1024 1025 1028
1060 -Hsync +Vsync
and
X_MODE_0           = 1280x1024 60 1280 1360 1496 1712 1024 1025 1028 1060
-Hsync +Vsync
in combination with
X_HORZSYNC         = "30-82"
X_VERTREFRESH      = "56-76"
(from the manual).
No success in any combination.
Is there someone out who got this graphics adapter running a bigger
resolution than 1024x768 ?
Btw: We are on ltsp4.2 and OpenSuSE 10.1
Thanks in advance,

Frank
