What version of flash do you have installed? You can probably:

- apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree (or equiv for gutsy, or download 
the latest  v9 libflashsupport.so file from adobe's website and copy it  
to /usr/lib/firefox/plugins and chmod 644)

- 'dpkg -i' the libflashsupport package (the repos don't have it so get 
it from my server at 
http://logicalnetworking.net/other/libflashsupport_1.0~2219-1_i386.deb )

- Reboot thin-clients, they *should* work if other sound is working on 
the TC side (play a .wav or something to verify).
