Thank you very much for your hard work, Rob.  I haven't tried it yet, but if I 
find I need it for those old machines I have in storage, I'll definitely give 
it a try.

And it's not that many steps (really)... and you are right, the theory is 
straightforward. It looks like it should work fine.
