After that, off the top of my head, what needs to be done:
#1. The website should be ported over to the look and feel of Jakarta. It is
possible to use Anakia to do this or come up with your own solution.

#2. Mailing lists need to be setup on the Jakarta server (done by
[EMAIL PROTECTED]).
#3. Accounts for all the committers need to be created (done by
[EMAIL PROTECTED]).
#4. The main Jakarta website needs to be updated to include references to
Lucene on all of the relevant pages (like the CVS page).
#5. The CVS tree needs frozen and moved over. I'm not real sure how to do
this with SF. If someone can provide me with a tarball, that would be great.
#6. The code needs to have a package change to "org.apache.lucene"
#7. The cvs tree should be restructured to follow closer to these
conventions:
