I run a RedHat 9 server acting as my PDC on the LAN. (will change to SuSe come summer)
This is its 2nd year (year begins 1st August) of operation, previous installation had been RedHat 8 that run flawlessly for a year. Before RedHat 8 was an installation of Windows 2000 Server that went through several reboots a day and at leasyt 1 reinstallation a year! My worst problem with the RedHat 9 server was caused by an rpm installation (don't remember the package) that corrupted the /dev/null file (made it a regular file) and the boot process couldn't complete. A quick google later and armed with tomsrtbt floppy, this was quickly fixed. What is the worst problem you have ever encountered using your linux installation?
