Folks,

I am trying to setup a testing VoIP (internally within the organisation)
using asterisk. I have a dedicated box with SuSe 9.1 installed. I have
installed all the required packages including zlib, bison, m4, gcc,
glib-devel and ncurses-devel. I have tried running the following commands
but could not get through;

#make
#make install

Whenever I run a "make" command, I get and error as #-bash: make: command
not found. From the mannual I have, it says whenever I get such an error,
I install missing packages as bison and m4 but still running into the same
error.

What do you think is missing here?????????
