our company currently hosts it's own DNS. Recently, a
certain server refused to accept an email because we
had no reverse DNS entry.

We do have a reverse DNS entry in our configuration,
but it doesn't seem to propagate. I later found out
this is supposed to be done by our ISP.

Now the ISP is not very clear on this. we have been
given 2 options which are.

1. To either let them host our DNS for us
2. Pay for our own ip addresses and do our own border
gateway routing.

My question is, what are the advantages/disadvantages
of each ?

"Who the heck is General Failure, and why is he reading my harddisk?"
