I agree here. Having used FC, SuSE and then Ubuntu for years before
moving to OS X, I am much in favour of Ubuntu over OS X. However, there
are common problems with peripheral support on Linux that the average
mwananchi will suffer with. Then of course, Microsoft Office that is not
yet ported to Linux but is available on OS X.

I remember we had this thread a while back - I have a mozilla profile
dating back to mid 2003, now more than 4GB, and have had zero issues with
it in any OS that i have roamed with it (Windoze, Linux and OS X)
