Hi I beleive Busia has all operators. But Orange Telecom and Kenya Data Network either are on the forefront or have necessary Capabilitiy to interlink East Africa through cable.
No idea about Malaba connection, but cabling is now spreading to other towns in Kenya. Plan is to cover all North and northern eastern Kenya by end of year (Remotest parts in Kenya). ________________________________ From: Mark Tinka <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Cc: Erika Wanda <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, April 21, 2009 11:24:46 AM Subject: Re: [LUG] Digital Planet On Tuesday 21 April 2009 04:13:51 pm Erika Wanda wrote: > Sorry I gave outdated news. I'm sure we can even start using the cables at Busia for interconnection into Nairobi itself :-). Cheers, Mark.
