cable is here indeed... it is, in my opinion, naive to think that one cable
will resolve all your problems; have a backup, TEAMS, satellite.... This is
an undersea cable, tectonic plates are moving almost every second,
submarines may contribute to this breaks... its not immune to problems.

TEAMS has been around for a while now. They too have experienced a breakage.
Having both cables serving you would be wiser.
