Some thing tells me that the owner of /worker in the shop is involved in
the theft.
Since when did some one owning a shop on Kampala Road be stupid enough
to buy an electronic with out proven/documented ownership and then go
ahead and display it?
What would happen if someone came up and bought it?
Do you realise that your personal info would have gone out flying on the
internet ( if some one decides to - hope there was no personal info
there).
I don't want to use one person's moment of agony to prove a point but if
we want to wipe out this culture of theft, name and shame is the way to
go.
It would be better if all members on this list blacklisted that shop and
may be ... other shops could pick a lesson that buying stolen items is
bad. .... what will happen? Stolen items will make nonsense and petty
thieves will be rendered useless.
Otherwise, as some one said,
I have always trusted prey although I have not experienced a moment when
I need to report a theft.
